Volleyball Recap: Drexel Bobcats vs. Archie Whirlwinds
After flying high against Kingsville last Wednesday, Drexel came back down to earth. The Drexel Bobcats came up short against the Archie Whirlwinds on Thursday, falling 3-0. While the Bobcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-20-3), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
While Drexel ultimatly came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17, 25-19.
Drexel's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Archie, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drexel will venture away from home to face off against Appleton City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archie, they will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Crest Ridge at 6:30 p.m.
