Softball Game Preview: Shawnee Indians vs. Botkins Trojans

The Shawnee Indians will look to defend their home field on Monday against the Botkins Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shawnee lost 12-3 to Findlay on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Shawnee saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ameilia Hasting, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Botkins' offense. They came up short against Hardin Northern on Saturday, falling 7-0. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.

Shawnee now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Botkins, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
