Basketball Recap: Wahpeton Falls Short of Shiloh Christian in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wahpeton can now relate to. They lost 74-54 to the Shiloh Christian Skyhawks on Thursday. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wahpeton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Shiloh Christian, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-3.

Wahpeton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shiloh Christian, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Devils Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Shiloh Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 games -- so hopefully Devils Lake likes a good challenge.
