Volleyball Recap: Wesson's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wesson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Franklin County Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cobras have posted since August 7th.

Wesson wouldn't go down easily and took Franklin County into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-17, 26-24, 22-25, 15-13.

Wesson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Franklin County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.

Wesson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Wilkinson County on the 4th. After both having extra time off, Franklin County and Port Gibson will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
