Volleyball Recap: Elise Marchall Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Grand Terrace + How To Watch

While Citrus Valley's victory against Grand Terrace wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blackhawks had just enough and edged out the Titans 3-2. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (110-104) Citrus Valley actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 28-26, 21-25, 13-25, 17-15.

Citrus Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elise Marchall, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Marchall a new career-high.

Marchall wasn't the only good server: Citrus Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.
