Basketball Recap: St. Clairsville Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

St. Clairsville and Martins Ferry squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but St. Clairsville had to settle for second. They took a 70-54 bruising from the Martins Ferry Purple Riders. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Red Devils came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Purple Riders are ranked 301st).
