Basketball Recap: Friendship Academy Science & Tech Takes a Loss

Friendship Academy Science & Tech had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 71-48 to the Wise Pumas.

Cayden Hargrove was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards for Wise. With that strong performance, Hargrove is now averaging an impressive 9.2 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Rasan Golatt, who posted nine points and seven steals.

The win (which was Wise's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Friendship Academy Science & Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wise, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Severn School at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
