Basketball Recap: Frankfort Redbirds vs. Century Centurions
The Frankfort Redbirds were the 65-28 winner over the Century Centurions when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Frankfort fell 54-46 to the Centurions on Monday.
Ashton Dillow continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Century, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Karleigh Jones, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Frankfort dropped their record down to 4-26 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Century, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frankfort will take on the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Century, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Redskins at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Shawnee is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
