Softball Recap: Henderson Comes Up Short

Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coatesville Red Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 18-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Maia Royer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Josie Carfagno, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI.

Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Coatesville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Henderson will challenge rival East at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Coatesville is set to take on their familiar foe Downingtown East at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
