While Columbia's victory against Highland wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Coyotes narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Scots 7-6. The victory continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won four in a row.

Columbia's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Highland, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will face off against Waitsburg/Prescott at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will venture away from home to take on White Swan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.18 runs per game on average), something the Scots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
