Baseball Game Preview: Rogers Rams vs. Sumner Spartans

The Rogers Rams will face off against the Sumner Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Rogers 3.9, Sumner 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Rogers is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Bethel 13-7 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Sumner has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.08 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They fell 10-5 to Puyallup. The Spartans have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Sumner's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Rogers, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.
