Windsor had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Lutheran Lions by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Wizards sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Windsor found their leader in sophomore Avery Smiley, who had 23 digs and two aces. Smiley has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lola Heimlicher, who had 16 digs.
