Volleyball Recap: Cameron Comes Up Short

Cameron lost against Somerset back in August of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Comets fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1. The Comets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Jillian Emerson and Karalee Hibbard, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Emerson Krahenbuhl and her eight assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Cameron now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Somerset, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Cameron has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Stanley-Boyd on the 29th. As for Somerset, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Menomonie on the 29th.
