Rison suffers seventh straight loss at home

This season hasn't been kind to the Rison Wildcats, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They were outmatched by Junction City at home and fell 61-14. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rison has scored all season.

Junction City's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Montra Hankton, who scored 16 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hankton has scored at least 25% of Junction City's points. Another player making a difference was Demarion Henry, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds.

Rison's loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Junction City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Rison will be playing at home against Hermitage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Hermitage is ranked 273rd, while Rison is ranked 270th). As for Junction City, they will head out on the road to face off against Hamburg at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hamburg is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
