Volleyball Recap: East Mecklenburg Continues Home Dominance on Thursday + How To Watch

East Mecklenburg barely beat Palisades the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Pumas with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pumas, too.

While East Mecklenburg won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23, 25-20.

Jane Young paced East Mecklenburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Young got some help from Sydney Leo and her 12 assists. Lillian Carlson and Caitlin Fowler kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

East Mecklenburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Independence on the 16th. As for Palisades, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Hopewell on the 16th.
