Soccer Recap: United South Comes Up Short

United South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Medina Valley, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, United South can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 630th, while Medina Valley is ranked 123rd).

United South's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Medina Valley, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

Looking ahead, United South will challenge Eagle Pass at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Medina Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Rio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Medina Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.
