Rockland is set to face off against Whitman-Hanson Regional in a playoff match this Friday. Rockland has a win under its belt but has never won back-to-back; of course, Whitman-Hanson Regional will be hoping to keep it that way.

Rockland took its game last week with a confident 28 - 7 score.

Meanwhile, Whitman-Hanson Regional brought the heat last game after its low-scoring effort (eight points) in the match before. It was able to grind out a solid victory over Scituate last week, winning 32 - 21. With four TDs, sophomore running back Mike Connors was a significant factor in the success.

Their wins bumped Rockland to 4-5 and Whitman-Hanson Regional to 5-4. While both teams are coming off of wins, only one will triumph this week. We'll find out soon enough who that will be.
