Basketball Recap: Roberts Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Roberts had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They managed a 42-37 win over the Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades. The victory continues a trend for the Rockets in their matchups with the Renegades: they've now won seven in a row.

Several Renegades players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marshall Ulmer, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Ulmer a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Ben Broyles, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine boards.
