Softball Recap: Jackson-Reed Comes Up Short

Jackson-Reed fell victim to Georgetown Visitation Prep and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cubs, falling 17-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Cubs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Jackson-Reed's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson-Reed will host Banneker at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Georgetown Visitation Prep, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against School Without Walls at 4:15 p.m.
