St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Warrenton Warriors, falling 40-20. On the bright side, the 20- point effort marked the Pirates' highest-scoring game to date.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warrenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
