Weston-McEwen and Western Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Weston-McEwen had to settle for second. They were beaten by the Western Christian Pioneers 54-27. The TigerScots' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Weston-McEwen's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Western Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season.
