Volleyball Recap: Mission Viejo Comes Up Short

Mission Viejo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Laguna Beach Breakers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-18.

Laguna Beach found their leader in sophomore Sienna Utge, who had four digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Utge is now averaging an impressive 2.3 aces per game.

Mission Viejo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Laguna Beach, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Mission Viejo will take on Northwood at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Laguna Beach, they will square off against Aliso Niguel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
