Baseball Recap: Hale Ray Has No Trouble Against Portland

While Hale Ray put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Portland. The Noises were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Highlanders. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Noises have posted against the Highlanders since April 12, 2021.

Aiden Brown was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and one triple. Hale Ray is 5-1 when Brown posts two or more runs, but 0-13 otherwise. Colby Bryant was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Hale Ray and bumps their season record up to 5-14. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Portland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.

Hale Ray wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 23-3 win against Academy of Science and Innovation on the 27th. Portland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
