Softball Recap: West Potomac Comes Up Short

West Potomac managed to slip by Alexandria City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines lost 15-5 to the Titans on Tuesday. Wolverines fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Titans since on Tuesday.

West Potomac saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Kay, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. Another was Stella Weeks, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

West Potomac's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Alexandria City, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-12.

Looking ahead, West Potomac will take on Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Alexandria City, they will square off against Meridian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
