Volleyball Game Preview: Millburn Millers vs. Colonia Patriots

The Millburn Millers will face off against the Colonia Patriots at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Millburn sitting on three straight wins and Colonia on four.

Millburn is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Ridge as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Millburn never let Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-16.

While Colonia didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past North Plainfield 3-0 on Thursday.

Millburn's win bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Colonia, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Millburn couldn't quite get it done against Colonia in their previous meeting back in October of 2019 as they fell 2-0. Can the Millers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
