It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Marsh Valley ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Snake River Panthers 15-13. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Marsh Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-16-1. As for Snake River, their loss was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-17.

Marsh Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-7 defeat against Preston on the 5th. Hopefully Snake River paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field , they'll take on the Eagles at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
