Softball Recap: Legion Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Palmetto last Saturday, Legion Collegiate Academy came back down to earth. The Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weddington Warriors on Tuesday. The Lancers have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Legion Collegiate Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emma Dade, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Dade a new career-high.

Legion Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1. As for Weddington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
