Marist entered their tilt with Maine South on Wednesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 6-2. For the RedHawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Collin Lawlor tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Matt Molesky, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Marist pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Maine South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marist will take on Saint Viator at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maine South, they will face off against Deerfield at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
