Ferris had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Palmer Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ferris took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Coming up, Ferris will venture away from home to challenge Mexia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Palmer, they will be taking part in a tournament against Latexo at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
