Football Game Preview: Liverpool Warriors vs. Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars

The Liverpool Warriors will square off against the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Liverpool's offense hasn't had much luck over their past five contests, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, neither Liverpool nor Syracuse could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 6-6 tie.

Meanwhile, Cicero-North Syracuse got themselves on the board against Syracuse Academy of Science on Friday, but Syracuse Academy of Science never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over the Atoms. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Northstars.

Cicero-North Syracuse's win bumped their record up to 8-3-1. Liverpool's draw gives them a new season record of 8-2-2.

Liverpool didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Cicero-North Syracuse when the teams last played back in April, but they still walked away with a 13-7 victory. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Northstars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
