Volleyball Preview: Central Academy Cougars vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack

The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Parkwood entered their tilt with Buford on Thursday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They won by a set and slipped past the Yellowjackets 3-2.
If you add up the scores from across all five sets (101-100) Parkwood actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 19-25, 25-19, 25-20, 15-12.
Parkwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 17 consecutive contests.
Central Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Parkwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.
