Football Recap: Jacksonville Falls Short of Fairview in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jacksonville can now relate to. The contest between the Golden Eagles and the Fairview Aggies didn't end well, with the Golden Eagles falling 28-13.

Despite the loss, Jacksonville still got an impressive performance from Kamouri Harmon, who rushed for 83 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 29 yards and one TD.

It was another big night for Jake Harper, who rushed for 197 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry for Fairview. That's the most rushing yards Harper has posted since back in September.

Jacksonville has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Fairview, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

Jacksonville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairview, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-14 defeat against Scottsboro on the 20th.
