Ovilla Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. Everything went their way against the Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ovilla Christian was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-9, 25-12.

Brenlin Garlitz paced Ovilla Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Garlitz got some help from Sarah Fanning and her 17 assists. Garlitz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Ovilla Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-3-1. As for Garland Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
