Basketball Recap: Almont Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southeastern last Tuesday, Almont came back down to earth. The Almont Raiders took a blow against the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers on Thursday, falling 63-28. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Almont's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Croswell-Lexington, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Almont won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will challenge Imlay City at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
