Basketball Game Preview: Plateau Valley Cowboys vs. Basalt Longhorns + How To Watch

The Plateau Valley Cowboys and the Basalt Longhorns will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Plateau Valley kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 89-63 to Roaring Fork.

Despite their loss, Plateau Valley saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. London Mitchell, who shot 55% from the field to rack up 24 points and six boards, was perhaps the best of all. Colter Ralston was another key player, going 7-for-16 en route to 22 points and three blocks.

Meanwhile, Basalt had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of Banning Lewis Academy.
