Softball Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. West Stokes Wildcats

North Forsyth hasn't had much luck against West Stokes recently, but that could start to change on Friday. North Forsyth will head out to take on West Stokes at 4:30 p.m. North Forsyth has given up an average of 20.5 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Forsyth is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 18th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-0 to Walkertown, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Meanwhile, West Stokes fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Reagan on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 9-8. The Wildcats have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

West Stokes suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for North Forsyth, their record now sits at 0-4.

North Forsyth might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from West Stokes when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can North Forsyth avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
