Volleyball Recap: Kelly Walsh Takes Down Ranked Bonneville

Kelly Walsh is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bonneville. The Trojans came out on top against the Bees by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Lillian Hudson paced Kelly Walsh's offense, picking up ten kills. Hudson got some help from Gia Ireland and her 12 assists. Ireland also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Emma Hagar, racking up two apiece.

Kelly Walsh's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bonneville, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Kelly Walsh has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Hillcrest on the 6th. As for Bonneville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against East on the 6th.
