Basketball Game Preview: Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers vs. Chapman Panthers + How To Watch

Blue Ridge is 9-1 against Chapman since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Fighting Tigers just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Blue Ridge will come into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

On Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Blue Ridge beat St. Joseph's Catholic 48-43.

Blue Ridge can attribute much of their success to Opal Maralit, who went 5-for-7 en route to 15 points and six boards, and Talia Maxwell, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. The contest was Maralit's fifth in a row with at least 15 points. Macie Hanley was another key player, putting up two points in addition to three steals and three blocks.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Chapman against Chesnee on Wednesday as the team secured a 56-24 victory. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Chapman's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Blue Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Blue Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Chapman in their previous meeting last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 43-37 victory.
