North Summit had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Evanston Devils. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Devils, too.

North Summit easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20.

Ellie Stephens paced North Summit's offense, picking up 15 kills. Stephens got some help from Kate Smith and her 23 assists. Stephens also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Quinci Vernon, racking up two apiece.

North Summit's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Evanston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

North Summit and Evanston will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Braves are set to square off against their familiar foe North Sevier at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Evanston will take on rival Star Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
