West Valley extended the longest winning streak in Northern this week by beating Yreka, 50-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

The Miners fell to West Valley 50-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Greg Grandell's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kody Karpinski threw for 24 yards and Marcus Simmons had 16 yards receiving. On the ground Austin Clark contributed 150 yards.

The Eagles' dynamic duo of Karpinski and Simmons proved tough for Yreka to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Chance Nelson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Corning fell to Orland.

6-foot-0 quarterback Timmy Naylor of Central Valley is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,061. He has also thrown 12 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Franky Shepherd. The Lassen star has 36 catches for 531 yards.

In 120 carries Nelson has accumulated 930 yard this year.

The Falcons made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,145 from 2,299. The advance stemmed from a 57-21 victory over Wheatland last week.
