Soccer Recap: Klein Collins Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Klein Collins challenged Lake Creek on Tuesday. The Klein Collins Tigers fell 3-1 to the Lake Creek Lions.

Klein Collins' goal came courtesy of Jason Guzman, who's now up to 13 this season.

Klein Collins dropped their record down to 11-8-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Lake Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-3 record this season.

Klein Collins will face off against Bridgeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bridgeland will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Klein Collins surely won't give up without a fight. Lake Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
