Brown came up big in Whiteland's 3-2 victory
Dillon Brown produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Whiteland to the win in Saturday's first game. Brown was dynamite, pitching four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (he also only allowed one walk).
Brown's strong effort led Whiteland over Tri-West Hendricks and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. in Saturday's second game. Brown has dominated as far as earned runs are concerned (he's averaged 0.2 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering Tri-West Hendricks has only allowed seven per game this season.
