It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They snuck past Chandler Prep with a 46-42 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rancho Solano Prep.
Rancho Solano Prep found their leader in underclassman Nenah Brown, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Brown has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Pozen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Rancho Solano Prep's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Chandler Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.
Rancho Solano Prep will head out on the road to face off against Valley Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chandler Prep, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Sequoia Pathway Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 11th.
