Volleyball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jamestown lost against Grafton back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clippers.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-21, 23-25, 25-11.

Nicole Haywoood paced Jamestown's offense, picking up 13 kills. Haywoood got some help from Senah Drazdowski and her 14 assists. Finally, Genesis Anderson-Tayman kept Jamestown's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Allyson Burke was nothing short of spectacular for Grafton: she had 21 digs and six aces. That's the most aces Burke has posted since back in September.

Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Grafton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jamestown will square off against rival Warhill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grafton is set to take on their familiar foe Gloucester at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
