Basketball Game Preview: Port Jervis Raiders vs. Beacon Bulldogs

Port Jervis is 0-6 against Beacon since December of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Port Jervis Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Beacon Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Port Jervis will be strutting in after a win while Beacon will be coming in after a defeat.

Port Jervis is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home last Tuesday. They managed a 30-25 victory over Chester.

Meanwhile, Beacon came up short against Our Lady of Lourdes on Friday and fell 49-38. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Port Jervis took a serious blow against Beacon when the teams last played back in February, falling 63-11. Can Port Jervis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
