Baseball Recap: North Valleys Wins Going Away Against South Tahoe

North Valleys won the last time they faced South Tahoe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Vikings. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Caden Birch, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooks Anderline, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one double.

North Valleys' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for South Tahoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-19.

Coincidentally, North Valleys and South Tahoe will both be playing Lowry the next time they take the field. The Vikings will head out to face the Buckaroos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
