Baseball Recap: Davis Comes Up Short

Davis was the 4-3 winner over Sunnyside when they last played one another on Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies on Friday.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Sunnyside, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Davis will face off against rival Eisenhower at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sunnyside is set to challenge their familiar foe West Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
