Basketball Recap: Obie E Esparza Key Part of a Team Effort in Teddies Win

Roosevelt lost to Simley back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Roosevelt Teddies came out on top against the Simley Spartans by a score of 62-50. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Teddies.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Roosevelt to victory, but perhaps none more so than Obie E Esparza, who went 6 for 14 en route to 13 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was Calvin Peterson, who posted 14 points in addition to six assists and six rebounds.
