Football Recap: Truman Comes Up Short

Truman fought the good fight in their overtime match against Madison on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 40-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Knights. The Mustangs were up 24-6 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Truman's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Truman will square off against rival Midwood at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Madison is set to face off against their familiar foe Cardozo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
