Preview: Tuloso-Midway vs. Alice
Tuloso-Midway is 1-9 against Alice since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Tuloso-Midway Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Alice Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. Tuloso-Midway is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
After soaring to five goals the game before, Tuloso-Midway were a bit more limited in their match last Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockport-Fulton.
Meanwhile, Alice entered their tilt with Rockport-Fulton with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Alice had just enough and edged Rockport-Fulton out 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but Alice was the better team in the second half.
They hit Rockport-Fulton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Francisco Urrutia,
David Almaraz, and
Zander Urrutia.
Tuloso-Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Alice, the win got them back to even at 7-7-2.
Tuloso-Midway suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Alice when the teams last played back in January. Can Tuloso-Midway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
